Machines & Fictions is a monograph on the work of Spanish artist Félix Luque Sánchez over the last twelve years, in collaboration with fellow artists Damien Gernay and Íñigo Bilbao. The book includes texts by leading scholars, curators, and art critics who discuss Luque’s artistic projects Chapter I: The Discovery (2009), Nihil Ex Nihilo (2011), Different Ways to Infinity (2013-2015), Memory Lane (2015-2019), and Junkyard (2019).
As the coordinating editor of the book, I have worked closely with Félix in selecting the authors, overseeing the process of editing and translating, and proofreading the final versions. I have also carried out a final check of the layout of the book, which was carefully designed by Collin Hotermans and Félix, and contributed three texts about Félix’s work and his collaboration with Damien and Íñigo.
